There are many misconceptions about the notion of infidelity within a couple. Moreover, many men and women are wondering what is, today, the barrier not to cross. Admittedly, many marriages end in divorces today because of extra-marital relationships, but 68% of respondents still believe that it is still quite possible to remain faithful to the same person all your life. If this figure is down since the 70s (where it reached 86% among women), it is still quite positive, we even keep a little hope. Especially when you know that today, the limit not to cross has become very thin. Indeed, 62% of respondents believe that kissing is deceiving.
Of course, mentalities evolve over time. But what about the evolution of other clichГ©s about infidelity, phrases we usually hear?
"When we love we do not go elsewhere", well it turns out that 63% of married people or couples think the opposite (10% more than in 2018)
"To deceive is necessarily to sleep," false! Today, the kiss is judged as an act of infidelity by 62% of respondents.
"Infidelity is a young thing," wrong!
